I have checked valve gap and put together a simple spreadsheet to help track things. Maybe something like this exists already, but anyways, here is a screenshot, I'd be happy to share the file if anyone is interested. Here is how it works:
1.) Measure existing gap and enter number. If out of tolerance, cell will be automatically highlighted in red.
2.) Remove and measure existing shim, enter in spreadsheet
3.) Max and min possible shim will be calculated
4.) Enter replacement shim
5.) New gap is calculated
6.) Install shim and measure gap to confirm
This seems to have worked for me. I was able to move some shims around (see color coding). The Motion Pro tool to remove shims is not that great, therefore I just decided to order two shims 275 and 285 instead of taking all of them out.

Re: Valve shim replacement spreadsheet
Thanks, There is one doing the rounds but yours looks much neater.
My spreadsheet ended up looking like this - I was playing around trying to work out where I could swap existing shims too, quite a mess

Re: Valve shim replacement spreadsheet
Hey, whatever works! I was thinking about checking all valve shims and try and move some around, but I figured I will probably end up having to order at least one or two, so I only looked at the valve gaps that needed adjusting.
