Carb Needle Jets
Hello everybody. I am working on a set of carbs off of an 80 CBX. While cleaning them and taking them apart, I mixed up the needlejets thinking they were all the same. Come to realize when cleaning them, I see 1 out of 6 of them have no holes. I have never seen this before, Is it supposed to be like this? and if so which carb would the needlejet with no holes go into?

Re: Carb Needle Jets
All 6 need to have the holes in the tube portion of the emulsion tube, they let the air mix with fuel before the mixture goes into the airsteam of the carburetor.
The one without the holes is a manufacturing defect and probably has been there since day 1. I've never seen this either.
I can send you one if you don't have a replacement.
