Corbin Gunfighter seat

Post by aperfcrcle »

Hey all,

Looking to make the switch to the original OEM seat. This Corbin was bought new by my Uncle in 2021. No tears or damage, it is in very good shape. $450 OBO + shipping

Used to be you could buy a new Corbin for about that, don't know if they are even still available for the CBX. Many love them, many hate them - you have to sit on one for a few days to know. BTW, keep those brackets that are bolted to the seat - you'll need them if you put on the stock one.

The Corbin seat pan is tractor like in its width but comfortable, it is more a touring/cruising saddle, the width makes it harder to lean over and move around on if you’re using it for Sport bike rides, probably not too many owners riding the twistiest hard anymore.

It was pretty comfortable the few times I rode it before I took everything apart with this mini-resto I am doing on it. But you are correct, the width kind of keeps you low and in place. Worked for my Uncle when he had it, I just love the look of the stock seat.

Thanks Dave! Already took those brackets off, cleaned them up real nice and put a fresh coat of paint on them.
Corbin is still selling them, they are about $650 new now from their website. Open to offers as I already secured a OEM seat!
