Boomerang Bearings/Seals
Does anyone have a list of part numbers for bearings/seals for gold boomerangs? I tried looking up CB1100F wheels, but the pictures shows them with the cast wheels and the CB900F with the standard comstar wheels. Do the standard comstars and gold boomerangs use the same bearings and seals? Also, what's the best/easiest way to remove the old bearings.

Re: Boomerang Bearings/Seals
If you get the bearings and seal out, they will be marked with a number you can match up. As for getting them out, you need to knock the center collar off-center as far as it will go, then use that for a driver to drive one side out. Then it's easy to use a more proper tool to drive the remaining one out. You may mark up the collar a bit, but it can be dressed up. The collar usually has a locating tang slid on one end or the other. Choose to off set whichever end seems to have the most lateral movement before starting to whack it out.

I got the front wheel bearings out. The bearings had the number, but no go on the seals. I may be able to clean them up and reuse. I'll have to make a spanner tool for the rear wheel. Looks like ther is some type of screwed in retainer ring.

The seals are all special, but you should be able to reuse them. Wasn't sure if your rear wheel had a retainer, but apparently it does. Get that screwed out, then do the same thing you did on the front.

Thanks Steve. Do you have to have the numbers for the rear wheel also?
