Re: 6-1 Exhaust Group Buy
I may want one depending on the price and my friend Blake would want one as well, so I think we have 5 already

Re: 6-1 Exhaust Group Buy
I put in a request to the vendor to see if they have any interest and what approximate pricing and schedule would look like. If they have interest I'll start another thread.

Re: 6-1 Exhaust Group Buy
I just saw this very same exhaust at http://www.timscbx.com/ and he is selling them for $1295! This is double of what was supposedly paid to Moto GP Werks (in this group buy)

Re: 6-1 Exhaust Group Buy
Hey Guys, I agree with this post. The oil changes it becomes a headache, never mind the ground clearance. Looking on the picture its look like the old 6 into 1 made by R.C. Engineering. I do have one in my 1980 CBX and it was low with the stock wheels and suspension. Now, I am using a ZRX complete front triple and wheels. It "grabs" everywhere. Even speed bumps.cross wrote:It's a nice exhaust only guy's remember that it needs to come off for oil changes. I remember speaking to the builder and he told me that if you don't remove the exhaust that the oil will be dripping over it.
If you look I the video, pipes are only few inches away from the drain plug

Actually he patterned the headers off of a Winning 6-1. Just a guess that the muffler is a Yoshimura knock -off.
Too bad about the drain plug.
Would it clear if the pan was turned around? They fit either way.

I have the pipes and it's a pipes off procedure. But as I only change the oil at the end of ride season it's just part of putting the bike into hibernation.
