Bump on the bump: We're about to make a couple of sets for ourselves, or we'd send them to Terry. That hose is bloody expensive! If you're running the original lines, you're on borrowed time. They'll fail and it will be a mess, at best.

I am still making the hoses and will send them virtually anywhere. $175 plus shipping…. If you don’t have ends add $100 and I will furnish them till I run out of stock.

Just a update I am still making hoses for the mighty Cbx. I give quick turnaround time as once I get your ends your new hoses will be headed your way the next day.

I appreciate your comment Jeff. I am not doing these to make a killing. I am making $$ on them but there is labor involved in making them. The footpeg rubbers, alternator grommets and the emission tank straps I had made to make them affordable to put on my restores and to help others. I love restoring these bikes. It is my hobby.

If you are in an emergency you can use AN hoses and some quality hose clamps. Have been running these all summer and absolutely no leaks.

Good info. Especially useful for 'on the road' situation.

AN (Army-Navy) (stainless or cloth braided) are WAY overkill for this function. There are better and cheaper alternatives if you're "stuck on the side of the road". The oil pump low pressure side is only 15 PSI with no restrictions, only flow to the cooler and dumping back into the sump.
Keep in mind that ALL of the hoses on these bikes, degrade with age and use. Brakes, high pressure oil feed to the head, fuel, and cooler. They were not intended to last forever. Especially the brakes, there is a date code on them for a reason.
For the safety of the rider and others, they require replacement by now if they haven't been done already.

WAY overkill or not

… AN hoses are relative cheap and accessible, solid, looking good, easy to route and foremost excellent resistant against oil and heat.
