Missing oil baffle in Cam galley?

Along the leading edge of the exhaust camshaft galley -- There are (6) baffles that appear to be for oil retention against the camshaft. It appears that there is one baffle assigned to each set of exhaust valves. For some reason, my motor APPEARS to be missing one ( see image). Is this, in fact, a missing part ( outlined in green) ?
Thank you

Yes, you are missing an oil pool plate. Should be 3 on each side.

And just a minor correction, the oil pool plates reside on the INLET camshaft galleries, not the exhaust galleries.
I believe their purpose is to ensure there is sufficient oil pooling around the buckets and shims to keep them fully lubricated, and to a lesser extent (because they are on the inlet side, so therefore those valves run cooler than the exhaust), to carry latent heat away from the valve train and prevent heat excessive heat build up.
Are you doing a major rebuild on this, hence why the motor is out and on the stand? Or just a top end 'freshen up'. Enquiring minds need to know.
Enjoy the journey.
Cheers....Tony
