Delkevic ground clearance

hi, new to CBX and forum. Just swapped out the Mac system that came on the bike with the Delkevic to get closer to stock look and sound. All good with the exception of ground clearance on how the system stands off the side and center stand. Any ways to make this a bit better? Cut down the rubber cushions?

Sounds like the problem has been around for a while.
This old thread has a bit of info on the side stand at least.
