Oil pressure switch
Hi all sorry I first but this is in Handling
Ok I need your help here if any off you CBX's can. I remove the Oil pressure switch and clean it and reinstall it using thread sealant to help stop the oil leak going from oil pressure switch the switch work great only problem is oil leak coming from switch.

Ok guys I got a New Oil pressure switch not much to it I just need to know where could it start to leak from the thread or top black rubber seal getting dry and old.

Tazz, the switch can leak from one of two places: either around the threads or from near the top where the wire attaches. For the threads, you can use a thread sealer when you install the switch. (A teflon tape or sealer such as Permatex.) There is nothing you can do for the top of the switch. When you install the switch, do not tighten too robustly. I would suggest approx 10 lbs-ft (12 - 15 Nm) torque
