I have a '79 CBX and am about to do a carb balance. I balanced the carbs on my previous bike,'98 Valkyrie, with a Twinmax electronic balancer and it seemed to work fine. Got it through Calamander, France. Is anyone familiar with this method. It was simple and worked fine on the Valkyrie. Just wondered why I've never heard anything about it.

The Twinmax works fine for me for all my bikes, including the CBX. Others, who have over 40 years of experience will chime in and say it is no good!

The manufacturer doesn't even address 6 cylinders.

Because you only work with 2 cylinders at a time. It doesn't matter how many cylinders your bike has.

My friend has twinmax and I’ve helped him synch Valkyrie carbs.
It’s easy once you get a handle on it.
I do however prefer this one for $189
