Alternator drive plates

Is anybody manufacturing new alternator drive discs, as mine are totally shot inner plate being worn to the point that the 4 radial grooves from inner to outer are almost flush. Also are they all supposed to have 2 washers behind this plate to push on the spring as mine only has the one.

Yes, there are two washers.
Two different thicknesses. Both are becoming difficult to find as are the plates.

Might check with David Silver or cmsnl.com for the plates if they can't be resurfaced.

Look up Cary knapton. I believe he is in the uk. He has been putting fiber plates on them with good results. I believe if you send your plates in to him he applies the fiber for you.

TrueDisc LLC will resurface your plates including cutting
in the 4 oiling groves for about $200.00. Get a shim washer from Mike Nixon and the washer you're missing
from Louis.
