A question about using old gas

I have a full tank of ethanol free untreated gas in my CBX
that's one year old today. I drain the carbs after every ride.
I didn't ride it last year due to knee
surgery and I'm now ready to get back in the saddle .
Should I drain the year old gas and refill with fresh gas or
can I use the year old fuel? I don't want any carb trouble and
trust the expert advice here.

Personally, I would put a bottle of Techron into the tank and ride on. Let's see what better minds than mine think.

I wouldn’t chance it. Drain it and put in your lawnmower or put small amounts in your vehicle. Carb jobs are a pain in the a$$.

If you ask yourself if it's good enough, it probably isn't. (Life lesson).

Drain it, put it in your car/truck where it will be diluted with the fuel that in there. Put fresh in your bike.

I've let unstabilized, non-ethanol gas longer than a year in a full CBX tank and used it just fine. But your car will run just fine on it too. So do what you think is best.

I run non-ethanol gas in everything I have that doesn’t run every day (mowers, chainsaw, blower, weed wacker, generator and motorcycles). Some sit for over a year and always start. I haven’t had to clean a carb on any of them.
