Ring Compressors

I picked up some Honda brand DOHC CB750 ring compressor tools and wondered how close to the CBX size the piston is? Never used one of these before having always used my fingers and spent several hours the last time I did a CBX trying to get the cylinders on so I grabbed the compressor tools when I saw them. I have used pipe clamps before with success but wanted the real deal for my tool box. It looks like the 750 piston is about 186CC and the CBX piston is about 165CC. Maybe the curved part of the tools can be curved in more? I also picked up two tools for a yet unidentified bike that are a little smaller. Your thoughts if you have used them please.

Google says the CBX bore is 64.5mm and the 750 is 61mm - I don't see you having any problem with them

As Don's post shows, you can't use the displacement to compare. You need to look at the bore size. I wouldn't be surprised, if the tool is the same for all early 80 big DOHC Hondas.
The 900F had a 65.5mm bore.
