Painted or unpainted. I ran my housing threw the ultrasonic and then into the glass bead cabinet. It was painted when I took it off but now it looks good freshly glass beaded it is hard to tell if it should be painted ?

The location of the filter is not the best to keep paint nice. It is right behind the front wheel and will get quite some debris thrown at it. Pick a paint that has a degree of chip resistance....

What about anodizing? You could do black or silver, or if you're into colours, you could do blue, gold, red, etc.
